Verheeskade II continues the momentum of its neighbour Verheeskade I, but with a different focus. The project combines approximatively 2,200 housing units for various target groups, shops, restaurants and other amenities that make everyday life easier. In addition, commercial spaces are being developed to accommodate businesses wishing to set up in the area.
A notable feature of the project is the large roof garden, the Haagse Dakduin, which offers residents a green meeting place in the heart of the city. By bringing together housing, work and leisure, Verheeskade contributes to a Central Innovation District with renewed vitality.
