In 2022, 1,820 real estate companies around the world participated in the GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark). The companies provided extensive data on their management, performance, and development strategy toward a sustainable transition.
Atenor participated in the GRESB Benchmark scoring five out of five stars and has been recognized as leader for Global and Regional listed sector.
For us, participating in the GRESB means providing transparency, recognition, and insight on Atenor’s sustainability engagement through a third-party assessment.
GRESB also provides us with information and tools to continue moving towards sustainable development. The decisions we make, and our entire strategy are all centered on creating value for all of our stakeholders – society being one of them. The results illustrate that Atenor is having a substantial impact, through its project and management approach.
Gilles Vanvolsem, ESG Manager says “Real Estate Developers are not always well perceived regarding their social and environmental responsibilities. This result demonstrates that sustainability at ATENOR is a reality. Strategies and actions are already in place. They ensure that all our projects contribute to the sustainable development goals. This benchmark will help us sharpen our ambitions and objectives.”
