Almada is a small town in front of Lisbon, on the other side of the Tagus. Mostly known for the statue of Christ the King, Almada is also a city rich in Urban Art. Located along the river, the quays of the port of Almada, long of several hundreds of meters and partially abandoned, found life through all kinds of graffiti and ephemera composing one of the most impressive sites of Street Art.

LISBON – Panorâmico de Monsanto

Hidden in Monsanto Park, dominating the Portuguese capital, this former panoramic restaurant offers 360-degree views on Lisbon. This 7,000 m² building was built in 1968 by a famous architect. A true architectural and innovative work for the time, the building was abandoned in 2001. The place was seriously degraded before being completely cleaned and reopened to the public in 2017. Since then, this place has become a real Street Art museum. Spread over several floors, the walls are covered with graffiti of all kinds, some are true works of art.

LISBON – Rua São Pedro de Alcântara
